The Volunteer Program
Arae proudly offers a range of impact-led volunteer programs set in the rural landscapes of West Java, Indonesia designed to help local communities and get experience by doing or having daily activity like local people while supporting the preservation of the region's rich natural environment.
Through these programs, volunteers have the opportunity to contribute directly to meaningful community intiatives, gain a deeper understanding of local backgrounds and inspiring cultural traditions, and immerse themselves in the daily life of the villages.
Participants can also experience the magical beauty of nature through hands-on activities such as ecoprinting workshops, which highlight the unique botanical potential. Beyond the work itself, volunteers are welcomed with the unmatched hospitality for which the region is known , creating an environment where cultural exchange, personal growth, and postive impact come together to form a truly transformative volunteer journey with Arae.
As part of our volunteering program, we also put volunteers on a community rota~which is dividing the daily community tasks amongst them (cleaning common spaces, dishes..etc)
Accomodation
The accomodation, will be dormitory style volunteer houses in a comfy room with big paludarium inside. You will feel living in a nature. it has sharing bathroom outside the room.
Our beautifulplace also surrounded by mountain Salak Halimun that you can see directly from your window room
Food & Beverage
It is an Indonesian raditional food & pure water from mountain, we also serve vegetarian food also which locally sourced produce as much as possible.
Yes, we do accomodate dietary needs and allergies as much as possible.

Nature Relax
We have a natural pool in the river whose water lows directly fom the mountains, where are you can visit by walking only in 20 minutes.
