“The most sustainable way to shop begins with knowing why and how your clothes were made. But the journey begins after you bring them home. We’re here to help you make it easy.Because just like anything we love, our clothes deserve to be cared for.”
You don’t need to wash your pieces after every wear! We recommend airing them out on a hanger in between wearing them. Only wash them after wearing them at least three times, or when you need to remove stains immediately.
Make sure that your pieces are dry (not damp) to prevent mold—and always hang, not fold, your naturally dyed pieces in shade.
We recommend you to hand wash your clothes with cold water. While dry cleaning is a safe option, hand-washing them reduces energy use, is better for the environment, and also prolongs their life. After preparing your laundry properly, follow these steps.
*We recommend line drying your clothes to prevent any breakage. Avoid dryers. Aside from consuming a lot of energy, a dryer can be harmful to your clothes and fades the colors out. Follow these steps instead:
Any pH neutral cleansers like hand soap and shampoo work well. We recommend using a natural ingredient-based detergent, like soapnuts (lerak). We’d also avoid chlorine, optical brighteners, sulfates, petrochemicals, synthetic colors, phosphates, parabens, and artificial perfumes in the detergent whenever possible.
