Ecoprinting is a natural dyeing technique that uses plants, flowers and other botanical materials to create printed images on fabric or paper. The process captures the natural colours, shapes and textures of plant materials. The master tutor will guide you to create unique style of layouting the fabric designs.  Our course will take you step by step into amazing journey of botanical print, getting the clear pattern printing and bold fabrics color.

    PS I was born in Tjilatjap 1948. We lived on Java, Borneo, Sumatra and West Papua, until 1962.

  9. Hello, my name is Iliana. I’m from Venezuela, and I’m happy and grateful to have enjoyed my experience at ARAE for ten days.

    I would divide my experience into two, the first would be the training in the Eco Printing technique. I found the eco printing classes wonderful, I had the guidance of highly qualified teachers, with each new technique I developped my skills and encoutered great surprises. The teachers transmit the information in such a way that you can continue this artistic work wherever you go, giving you tips, ideas to replace materials and endless conversations about the behavior of leaves and flowers, dyeing each fabric in different climates and types of vegetation.

    I can honestly say Eco Printing opens a window to a beautiful understanding of both fabric and leather. I learned so much about the details involved in printing, how each technique is a work of art, and how every work will come out uniquely beautiful in the end.

    The second part of the experience was on a personal level. Arae opened a new chapter in my life of familiarity and friendship that I never imagined. Here I had the time and peace to think, laugh, share, and enjoy the beauty of the nature that surrounds this community.

    I recommend this beautiful experience. They are a team of incredible professionals, dedicated to making their students feel confident, safe and happy.

    Thank you to the beautiful Arae community, to my teachers, to the coordinators. I’m leaving very happy and with the promise of returning to continue gaining knowledge and visiting all the good friends I’m leaving behind in Bogor, Indonesia.🇮🇩
